System Requirements
For GroupWise Mobility Service 2014 R2 SP2 system requirements, see "System Requirements" in the GroupWise Mobility Service 2014 R2 Installation Guide.
NOTE: Prior to installing a new Mobility system, we recommend that you run the GroupWise Mobility Service SSLCheck 1.1 found here:
GMSsslCheck Instructions
- Download the GMSsslCheck.tar file to your GMS server.
- Open a terminal and extract the content of the tar file to a temporary location on your GMS server using the following command: tar xvf GMSsslCheck.tar
- In the terminal, browse to the folder where you extracted the files.
- Run the following command to launch the utility: python sslcheck.pyc
- In the menu prompt, select option 1.
The tool connects to all of your GroupWise POAs and checks their SSL settings against the GMS settings. If the settings do not match those in GMS, the information is displayed so you can resolve the settings. Once the settings have been resolved, continue with the upgrade of GMS.
NOTE: The GMS SSLCheck utility is only useful for upgrading from GMS 2.x to 14.x. See SSLCheck readme for details. After GMS 14 upgrade, the SSLCheck utility is built into mcheck.

Log in to your Micro Focus Customer Center account to download SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. For server installation instructions, see the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 documentation or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 documentation respectively.

GroupWise Mobility Service and the Novell Customer Center (NCC)

Updating to SLES 12 SP2
NOTE: If you are currently running GroupWise Mobility Service on SLES 12 SP1, you should update GroupWise Mobility Service 2014 R2 SP2 HP2 before upgrading your server to SLES 12 SP2.
Depending on the current state of your server, additional SUSE registration steps may be required to update SLES 12 SP1 to SP2. Before proceeding, verify that your SLES server is registered with SUSE. Do the following:
1. From a command prompt, run "SUSEConnect -s".
2. If un-registered, register your server with "SUSEConnect -r [your registation code] -e [your email address]".
Upgrade Steps from SLES 12 SP1 to SP2
1. Update to Mobility 2014 R2 SP2 HP2
2. Stop Mobility.
3. From a command prompt, run "zypper migration".
4. If migration fails with the following: "Can't get available migrations from server: SUSE::Connect::ApiError: Multiple base products found:[...]",
do the following:
- From a command prompt, run "SUSEConnect --cleanup re-register".
- Re-register with "SUSEConnect -r [your registation code] -e [your email address]".
5. Retry the migration with "zypper migration".
